Cheap bike fit

Right, now before anyone says "A proper expensive bike kit is worth the money and the best I've ever spent on cycling" spending hundreds just isn't an option at the moment. The Bike fit is actually for my partner and although she considers any money spent on bikes to be expensive, we just don't have the money to spend right now.
So, is there anywhere that will do a decent bike fit for less than a hundred quid?
The reason for doing it now is we're going on a bike tour around Iceland in a few months (paid for a while ago), and i think she'd benefit massively from having a bike fit prior to it.
We're based in the west midlands, but often travel to the south east, london and east anglia.
Any help or guidance would be very much appreciated.

I'll do it for £99. Just to warn you, I have no relevant qualifications though. What is wrong with her fit currently and why do you think it needs looking at ?0

I was a guinea pig at an upmarket one in London once and was surprised at the differences they made (though, they never actually emailed me the measurements they took). She's never cycled more than a few consecutive days before, and I feel anything that can limit the shock to the system is good!Danlikesbikes wrote:Dynamic Fit for £99 - http://www.bikedynamics.co.uk/options.htm

Thanks Dan,
I had actually been on their site and didn't realise they were so close! I'd like to spend less than that, but as they're so close it looks the best bet at the moment.http://www.KOWONO.com - Design-Led home furniture and accessories.0 -
I'm just gonna put this out ther. There are some people offering to do bikefitting online using videos. I think Cadence sport does it and someone called tigerfrog.
I have no experience of these whatsoever, I just know they exist.0 -
They seem to get the very good reviews for their bike fit, did a quick search of local club forums and they all tend to come back and recommend these guys.
Have been in the shop myself and bought a few small items in the past and they were quite helpful.Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.0 -

According to this, all my frames are 5 cm too big, my saddle 21.5cm too high, though my stem length is correct though so that's alright then. So I am keeping the stems and selling the rest. I'm 178cm and ride a 54cm frame bike. No.Live to ski

How was your tour around Iceland? I'm half Icelandic and would personally love to cycle the full loop when I finish school.0

Do you ride a compact / sloping top tube frame? I think the sizes given by this calculator are only valid for traditional frames. Also, they don't include crank length. (Which admittedly is one variable that should be taken into account.) I have just put in my own measurements, and the upper limit of the 'Competitive fit' is within 5mm of my current set up which, based on experience, cross-checked by goniometer measurements and so forth , is pretty much spot on."an original thinker… the intellectual heir of Galileo and Einstein… suspicious of orthodoxy - any orthodoxy… He relishes all forms of ontological argument": jane90.0 -

Missed this originally. It was great.
Hot, cold, sunny and windy pretty much all of those everyday! Amazing country, and by bike is the best way to see it. The unpaved roads can be a bit of a challenge though, we had to change our route as the bumpy roads broke the eyelet for the rack off my frame! We were there over the summer solstice and the 24 hour daylight was odd to say the least! Camping was affordable too.http://www.KOWONO.com - Design-Led home furniture and accessories.0
