Sods law I have a pair of 10 year old half jackets that dont have any mechanical defects.
I would have thought this was a good thing. :P

Yes and no, the missus hates them, the lenses are knackered and 55 quid for a new set. And plus dont think they will offer the wind protection I am after.

Its got to be m's or radars. Those reds are quite nice.

I find my half jackets with xlj lenses give far more wind protection than my m frames as the lens sits lower and covers more of my eye.

55 may be what you'd pay on the high street, but cyclestore.co.UK has the iridium ones for 40, and the non iridiums for less.

But the Mrs hates them! :D

How big is her thumb? ;p
  • Her thumbs are huge, and the print on my forehead is massive.

Just seen the photochromic ones on cyclestore! Thinking this is the better option now with the frames.
  • I think the Mrs prefers the Crystal Red/Positive Red Iridium M Frames...
  • What is it with you and those crystal m frames. They arent even in stock at the mo.
  • They look fantastic! That's all really. I would get a pair, but I already have a pair like this...

And I've just ordered some Racing Jackets. (Still very tempted though...)
  • Oh and Cyclestore have them in stock with a Hybrid S lens, might be a bit small for you though, think you said it was a sweep your after...

  • I really like the red ones you have.
  • Don't think you can get the metalic red anymore, team red is pretty close, but they are a Custom colour. £150 with an iridium lens.

Save your cash, try screwfix safety glasses good buy at £10 a shot, I find the yellow lenses really enhance the light on a winters day & then you can spend £10 more & get the sunlight shades.

    +1

Bolle safety glasses from screwfix for under a tenner = don't care if I drop/lose them.

Which ones, style and did you go or clear?
