Here's something to send you all giddy, DDD; I've actually spoken to msmancunia in meatspace! Just before she disappeared for her swanky new gig. I don't think it was anything I said.0

DDD, looking at a picture of msmancunia as I type! Yup, very pretty lady she is too. There's even a contact number for her (though I suspect it's a work no.)

I tend to acknowledge the regulars and do the not-actually-out-of-breathe cheery hello as I pass someone. Occasionally it turns into a brief chat. But if they blind me with stupid lights that can be seen from spaceI yell at them.I used to just ride my bike to work but now I find myself going out looking for bigger and bigger hills.0

What he said ^ at not bloody fakengers bloody splittersRule #5 // Harden The Feck Up.
Rule #9 // If you are out riding in bad weather, it means you are a badass. Period.
Rule #12 // The correct number of bikes to own is n+1.
Rule #42 // A bike race shall never be preceded with a swim and/or followed by a run.0 -
I say morning to people I pass if it's not busy. As for a cyclists' nod it's not something I do or had done to me. Most people I encounter on a bike probably couldn't give a left testicle about bikes and are just on them as a means to get to work.0

I guess the road bike riders who blank me are from the not MTB or Hybrid club.......
Can't see the point in adding weight to my bike by having bendy bars!
I aknowledge all....like KB, seeing fellow riders is rare so it tends to be an emotional event....Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -

A true scalp is not only overtaking someone but leaving them stopped at a set of lights. As you, who have clearly beaten the lights, pummels nothing but the open air ahead. ~ 'DondaddyD'. Player of the Unspoken Game0 -

On my commute, I see some cyclists who nod with every pedal stroke.0
