Looking at getting a new computer with cadence and HRM. These two seems to be so similar that I can't really split them. I use a Sigma computer at the moment albeit a cheapo with minimal functionality. Anyone have any experience of either who could recommend or know of any glaring faults either way.

I brought a POLAR CS200 cad from e-bay last october,it was one of the best bike accessories i have brought and used to date. The CS200 cadence sensor is spot on ,as is the HRM ,,the HRM does lose signal now and then under large power lines but does return very quickly .
Overall i was very impressed with the whole package,but... there are some problems with the set -up of the front wheel speed sensor,it took me ages to get it to read ,i even went and brought a new speed sensor thinking it was the sensor that was at fault...but had problems with the new one as well!!!!
Take notr you cannot change the batteries in the speed and cadence sensors ,,you have to replace the sensor?
When i got all the sensors working ,,The whole lot preform really well...the head unit only reads and records when moving ,if you stop it bleeps and pauses, great for traffic lights etc,,
I have i have nver used POLAR training software on the web -site..to anaylize your recorded data...but for the price you can pick them up second- hand they are to me a bargain,,,would i buy again!Yes! but i would also look at a BRYTON RIDER 20 as well ,but the bryton is more expensive.

Thanks for the info. Glad you told me about the sensor battery. Not know such issues with the sigma.
