Oprah - "So Lance, come clean. Did you ever dope?"
Lance - "Well Oprah, the truth is......"
Oprah - "Find out the answer next week on the OWS"
Cut to credits.
The whole cycling world - "F!!!££££&&&&KKKKK"
We already know he has admitted doping now. He apparently claimed not to be the prime mover in the whole arrangement and may have made some interesting comments about the role of the UCI. I really hope this is the last straw for Pat McQuaid. The UCI never took this seriously and it's time for "regime change".
Bye bye Pat.0 -
This speculation over what Lance has, or has not, admitted is all well and good, but the real question should be why in the promo pic for the interview do Lance and Oprah have straws and what's in that little chest behind him and are those pastel containers to collect his tears of absolution and is the gold plate full of Haribo or a special consolation trophy? I know I'll be staying up till 2am to find out 8)0

Is there any way to stream the Discovery Channel live on the internet?
I had a look at both the Discovery Channel and Sky Go website, but could not find anything. Thanks."The Prince of Wales is now the King of France" - Calton Kirby0 -

Thanks its on now. In the first 3 minutes he's admitted yes to what I wanted to know."The Prince of Wales is now the King of France" - Calton Kirby0 -
lol didnt take long0

He seems real calm and open. It must be hard from him to sit there and watch a video of himself lying in 2005, he said he looks at those videos of himself and thinks "I was an arrogant prick back then"."The Prince of Wales is now the King of France" - Calton Kirby0

+1
But at least he openly apologised and said he let down all the people who believed in him and believed what he said."The Prince of Wales is now the King of France" - Calton Kirby0 -
I guarantee if you go and watch clips of him riding on Youtube tomorrow there'll still be people defending him or in complete denial. :roll:0

He admitted that, apologised, admitted he was a bully, it was inexcusable and he was wrong they were right.
What else do you want him to say?"The Prince of Wales is now the King of France" - Calton Kirby0 -
"What else do you want him to say?"
Well-it would be interesting to know if his contrition extended to donating the Oprah fee to his or some other charity.
He has been ruthless, arrogant, and damaging of other careers, check out Nicole Cooke's retirement comments.
His almost pathological need to be the best just helped him to be the best doper.
A great many pro's do not,and will not disrespect his achievements-the world of the professional peloton exists in a bubble where extremes of pain and extraordinary acts of endurance and sacrifice forge a closeness rare in sport,or indeed life in general.
He has an unforgiving and relentless personality-is generally unpleasant in many ways,-no crime there- many winners have that.
Like most of us on this forum,I love cycling,I'm a bit rubbish, but we need our heroes-I thought this scandal would destroy my picture of struggle and hurt to reach that goal of a tour win-turns out that it's more complicated than that-Armstrong has damaged individuals and the sport generally-but he is just one, extraordinary individual in an extraordinary race, there will be others.
Won't stop me watching it.0 -
Is it still considered cheating if everyone else was doping?0

Come on, he didn't actually say anything, it was just a bunch of choreographed self-loathing presented by a person who he specifically picked for the task. Whenever she got close to asking something interesting the subject was either changed or he refused to answer.
As you've asked, what I want is for him to speak under oath and give dates, names, details of relationships, everything. I won't be satisfied if the panel in charge of this consists of talk show hosts.
Then I want him to be sued by everyone he's previously bullied and sued himself.
Then I want him tried for perjury.0 -
Did anyone else find the video and sound quality rubbish? I recorded it in HD and it feels like it was recorded on someone's Christmas camcorder!!
For something which was a world exclusive and in preparation for a week or two before recorded it seems pretty poor!0 -
not sure why anyone wants to watch this. get the summary from any website and use your time for better things than this staged pile of cack.0

*Spoiler alert* Lance cheated0
