Hi Folks,
Does anyone know if the Lance interview will be broadcast on a TV channel anywhere? I know it's being streamed live but that won't work for most of us here in the UK so I want to Sky+ it.
Any thoughts?
Tx

It will be fascinating to see. I can't believe that he not going to admit to doping. Otherwise, the whole exercise would be completely pointless. What will be interesting is seeing how far he goes. I don't believe he will name names (and I don't think he should either - Oprah is not the appropriate forum) but what about some of his other very negative behaviour?
I wish he hadn't taken drugs but let's not fool ourselves, we all knew it was going on. I also think he is a great cyclist. What I don't like is the vicious, vindictive and arrogant way he has behaved towards anyone who crossed him. LA is not a nice man.
I don't believe he will acknowledge how appallingly he has behaved and will just spew out a sob story along the lines of "Everyone was doing it but I have let my friends, family and supporters down and lied to you all. I'm sorry, please forgive this poor sinner, boo hoo etc". Perhaps I'm wrong. If I am, there may be some small hope for him yet.0 -

Got intel that he has admitted to the doping, how it helped him win the tour and some other malarkey.
Here's an article: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/othersports/cycling/lancearmstrong/9801836/Lance-Armstrong-admits-to-doping-in-Oprah-Winfrey-interview.html0 -
I won't be watching.
I think the best thing we can do is ignore this idiot.
He's unlikely to be doing this because he feels any kind of remorse or regret. He's seeking attention, but more than that he's trying to get even. I suspect the "apology and admission" will come packaged with a load of threats about taking down the house.
Give him attention and he'll cause more and more trouble to the sport we all love.
He's a liar, a dope and a nasty bully - just ignore him. Concentrate your attention on those that deserve it.

Winfrey is saying that they recorded so much that they are making two programmes out of the interview.0

Oprah's reaction on CBS news:
The entire interview was difficult," Winfrey said Tuesday on "CBS This Morning."
And while the media mogul said they had agreed not to speak publicly before the interview airs on Thursday, "by the time I left Austin and landed in Chicago," she said, "you all had already confirmed it!" Winfrey went on to explain that while Armstrong "did not come clean in the manner that I expected" and that it was "surprising to me ... my team, all of us in the room ... I feel that he answered the questions in a way that he was ready."0 -

The Friday 2am Discovery channel program is only 90 mins. In the US they are doing the full 2.5hr interview. Anyone have any ideas if/when Discovery will be doing the last hour?0

Thought I'd read its the same time the following day. http://www.oprah.com/own-oprahs-next-ch ... xt-Chapter0

I dare say the only bits we on here would be interested in will be condensed into a few soundbites and shown on the news.Tail end Charlie
The above post may contain traces of sarcasm or/and bullsh*t.0 -
2 parter will be frustrating:
Oprah - "So Lance, come clean. Did you ever dope?"
Lance - "Well Oprah, the truth is......"
Oprah - "Find out the answer next week on the OWS"
Cut to credits.
