Are sufferfest videos to be used on every turbo trainer workout or is it better to mix it up a bit with just steady tempo for an hour to avoid over doing it.

If you are overdoing it, then maybe.0

Depends how much training you're doing. Personally I couldn't face doing a Sufferfest every workout but then I'm training 5 days a week 2 of those on the road so if I did a Sufferfest for the other three turbo sessions I'd be overtraining. I usually leave Sufferfest for weekends if I can't get out on the road due to bad weather.0

I tend to do one or two a week; other sessions on the road. I personally wouldn't use the trainer for a steady state workout unless unavoidable, would bore me to tears!point your handlebars towards the heavens and sweat like you're in hell0

Training, particularly hard training, should be followed by the appropriate recovery or rest.0

Most people understand the meaning of appropriate, anyone who does not can look it up.0 -
Depends what you want to get out of your training doesn't it? Do the workouts that give you the benefits you want rather than worrying about doing a particular brand.0
