Name this film

Anybody remember a film from around 30 years ago about a bloke whos single and goes to sleep one night and has a dream about a girl and he falls in love with her in his dream and when he wakes up and realises it was only a dream he does something to get himself back to sleep, cant remember whether he takes sleeping pills, and he goes back to sleep to be with the girl and is woke up by medics about 2 weeks later and is almost dead due to not eating or drinking for 2 weeks, think it also had something to do with a picture on the wall.....

Really want to find the name of it as I remember iy being such a brilliant film!

+1 Thought Highlander was brilliant when i was twelve or something. Watched it again years later and it's utter bollox.

Christopher reeve goes back in time. He uses hypnosis and ends up looking at a coin which snaps him back to reality.

You are both spot on, thank you very much!

As soon as I saw the picture on the wall in that trailer I realised it was the one as I posted above in my original post that I remember a photo on the wall, and also when they showed you the diary/reception book and stop watch it reminded me of the film.

I didnt realise it was Christopher Reeves though, I was shocked.

Will get the film and have a watch, I hatched in 1972 so would have only been 8 when this was released, just hope its as good as I remember it!

Yeah, there wasn't even a spoiler alert in the thread topic. I'd intended watching that film tonight, I've been holding off reading anything about it ever since I was born and he's ruined it

I saw this film years ago about a bus that had to Speed around a city, keeping its Speed over 50 and if its Speed dropped it would explode! I think it was called the bus that couldn't slow down but I can't find it anywhere, help!

There was this movie about a big fish who took a dislike to Roy Scheider (Blue Thunder) and started playing the cello. I know I dreamed it but could it be real ? Any ideas fellers ?

Glad to have helped Soni. I found it through the IMDB search, and only recalled seeing it after I read the full plot. It's a 'nice' film, but none the worse for that.



One film I'm stuck with is about this woman who I think might be called Deborah, and she goes somewhere in Texas and is quite keen on several blokes she meets there. Any ideas?

yep, it is the full movie and I am going to 'invest' 1 hour 37minutes and 34 seconds of my life to this tonight
