Some more bits turned up so I got cracking:
Im having a few problems with the crank fouling on the chain device, it was originally a double but Ive now put one ring on it, its the inner ring mount that is catching. This is how i have fitted the ISCG mount but Im not sure if this is the wrong way round:

Actually, now that you mention it, my rims are not running true and I noticed that pretty much straight away, are they weak? Yours look battered0 -

Little Update:
Right, well got a few more bits in the post today, just stockpiling for now till I've got everything I want. So far I've got:
- Hope Saw 183mm Rotors
- Hope Tech 3 E4
- Hope 183mm Adaptors
- Shimano I-spec mounts
As for the rear brakes, I think I'm just gonna go for some Hope X2's, think the E4's might be a bit overkill0 -
Two things
1). As for Crests being weak, it was more the terrain than anything else. I got mine from Superstar and they weren't in true when they arrived, had to be re-trued several times. However I was working at a bike shop so all was well and had the kit to do it. I guess I just ran them down the hillside too hard :P were a load of drainage ditches across the surface that you jump over, concrete edged. I mis-timed one of the jumps and landed the backwheel on the sharp edge of the concrete doing 35+mph downhill running 35psi, was enough to dent it badly, but kept going, then like an eejit did the same timing error again and utterly destroyed it, punctured the rim (not the tyre) and generally ruined it.
2). I run M4's on the front and back of my new bike, they're just lighter, less powerful E4's so much the same thing. You'll be fine running an X2 on the back, frankly for the rear end if you grab it even a small brake will lock it up, so it has enough grab to slow you just fine. The M4's on the rear of mine slow it down very efficiently :P that's with a 160 rotor0
