  • I use all sorts of camera. it depends on the use. I have 3 GoPro's (with gimbals and all sorts of goodies), a DJI Mavic, a Canon T3i, and a few other things. I think I've figure the GoPro thing out ;). Check it out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qm5Rck7DCQY
  • I am using first version of Xiaomi YI. When you just take it outside of box quality is not very good. However in one hour you can easily improve it: make lens correction mod and add script which increases bitrate. After that quality is just the same as in three times more expensive Xiaomi YI 2.

Not having a screen is not an issue for me. Controlling over wi-fi works well and this is a preferred way (especially when attaching it to tree ;))

The only issue is lack of gyroscope. For this reason I am avoiding recording from bike POV as video becomes shaky (or blurry after correction).
  • I am getting started and I would like to replace my old GoPro.
I found this vid and I would like to get suggestions , which cameras i would need to make something similar

It’s impossible to say, but good videos are as much about the various shooting angles and points of view used and good editing.
A GoPro will provide excellent results if you plan the shoot, vary the views and take your time creating the final edit.

Thank you - this may be a good base to build up!
