I put the wellies on yesterday and went out for a hike across the back fields with the family and it was beautiful. Saw a few riders on the country lanes which gave me a pang of jealousy but I was just glad to be out in the fresh(!) air and feel like I was partaking in at least some exercise ;)
  • I was out at 8:30 yesterday morning and did 33 miles on the bike, and if that wasn't enough, a whole group of us had formed a pact to do a 6 mile run through muddy, waterlogged fields. My legs feel it today but what a great, fun start to the new year it was! Cycling conditions were perfect. :D

30 mile ride wet and flooded roads..but their was a strange yellow bright thing in the sky, haven't seen that for a few weeks
  • Did a wonderful 30 sunny miles with my 9 year old daughter, along the seafront from Christchurch to Poole and then on to the Isle of Purbeck and back. 2 ferry journeys needed each way, including a TT on the way back to get the last ferry. That's the furthest my daughter has ridden, she's well pleased and I'm really proud. One of those rides that really feels great. HNY all.
