Decided to treat myself to a turbo as a christmas present for myself.
When using it i intend to train using my HR monitor but would also like to be able to track my time, distance and speed. I know these things are basically irrelevant on a turbo but the inner geek in me likes to know them just for the sake of it, no reason other than i just like too !
So question is, how do i do it ? I have a garmin edge 205 for cycling and also a forerunner 205 for running which can also be used on the bike but obviously they both use GPS to track ans thats of no use on a turbo.
So is there a way to use my garmin or do i just buy a cheap wired bike computer for the rear wheel ? Would prefer to use the edge 205 if at all possible

The 205 should have came with the cadence/speed sensor. So just fit the magnet to the rear wheel and record your speed, if you don`t have the sensor they can be bought for about £35.Cervelo S5 Team 2012
