This is the annual problem the male of the species unfortunately goes through.
How about a new bike?
Luckily for me my girlfriend has lost one of her favourite earings so it was an easy choice for me!"If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got."

If she's getting big and possibly f**ked off, then I'd go jewellry or seriously high-end smellies.Commute: Chadderton - Sportcity0 -
Hmmm - the girl does have an eye for anything that sparkles.....
Thats'll be the bonus gone then :-(0 -
Well, if it's your first baby then it's a nice tradition to give an eternity ring....
And if it's jewellry then Georg Jensen, Tiffany, Links do nice stuff that's not too expensive.
And if she loves you (which she must do!) then she'll be happy that you've just gone out and bought her something nice :-)Commute: Chadderton - Sportcity0 -

Mrs A wants a handbag.
Actually Mrs A wants the handbag. She's wanted the handbag for two years now she just hasn't been able to find it. That's two birthdays and coming up to three Xmas' without me actually getting her a gift that is anything more than a token present.Mud - Genesis Vapour CCX

Good call - as my wife tells me, shoes and handbags don't make you feel fat (although the shoes part doesn't necessarily apply during pregnancy)...FCN 3 / 40 -
