mashed potato and pie, steaming hot on white with butter, so that the butter melts as you eat.

    Boxing Day special at Chez66:

White bread, turkey (breast plus thigh or leg), stuffing (thinly sliced), mini sausages wrapped in bacon (thinly sliced lengthways), cold roast potato (thinly sliced), parsnip (thinly sliced), bacon (preferably streaky), mayo, cranberry sauce, and leftover gravy.

    No butter.

    Vegetables optional.

There's a place down the road from us - BLT - that does pretty much that in a wrap or sandwich. They also do fish and chips with all the trimmings, or a Sunday roast dinner... in a wrap.

Ditto here; known as the Turkwich, although CFO favours bread sauce over mayo.

...sweet and savoury together is just very very wrong.

    Wha...?

Salted caramel. Melon and Parma ham. Sauternes and Roquefort. Pork with apple sauce. Port and stilton.

Not all sweet-savoury combinations work but the best are totes amazeballs.

You take a long hard look at yourself: there is no excuse for that kind of language.

Made chicken wrapped in streaky bacon with stuffing inside last night and deliberately made extra so i could make mammoth sandwiches for lunch today. Thick slabs of tiger bread, lurpak, sliced chicken and gravy. Twice.

    Yum.
