Bigger wheels are better with no drawbacks so that should beat steve peat in a dh race but also be able to climb a vertical wall.
So i've heard anyway.0 -
Someone help me please! I actually quite like this one.
It LOOKS nice, but I don't think I'd ever use it for anything.0 -

I think that one is public.
A few hundred now worldwide, that was the first one in the UK and I don't actually know of any others yet.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -

I think I've got some old DH tubes in the garage somewhere. I can see a video of me "testing the width" by sticking one on a track pump going on youtube later on.

Bike evolution has nearly gone full circle then ( ) won't be long before penny farthings are being pushed as the ultimate trail bike, you could roll anything on one of them bad boys!0

They are am amusing oddity, but they are too cumbersome for 98% of riding although my friend took his round Cannock just to prove he could. Never follow one though, the rooster tail of water/muck off the back tyre has to be seen (well more felt) to be believed!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

Oh good god, I'd never want to actually RIDE one. I just think they LOOK nice.
Like some of these proper custom builds popping up in "your MTBs" lately. From a purely aesthetic point of view, I think they're awesome. Borderline art in some cases, but I don't think I could ever ride one properly.0
