Maybe but the frames seem to be popular and cheap and i for 1 cant afford a dogma, Some people say that they make frames for some of the big names( to which none of them have denied)some people say they are cr4p and break my sons pinarello broke after hitting a pothole. As for knock offs how can they be when they are not badged as something they are not?0 -

Whats 'knock off' about a Chinese made frame? If you mean aesthetically it might be closely related to something else then yes, but hardly knock off. And if it has no interest to you, simply don't contribute to the thread.0 -

If you were to buy chinese it would have to be a dogma, I saw one couple of weeks ago, not bad IMO.MADONE 5.20 -

My graphics finally turned up from Brazil this morning. Now all i am waiting for is my brake pads and i will pop a picture of mine up. On another note should this thread not be under your road bikes?? Sorry my forum OCD, is causing me havoc.0

One of the advantages of those frames is the complete lack of logos/decals, forcing you to try and match the other components to the frames colour scheme. Gives you more freedom to strap whatever you want to it and then simply add matching decals instead.0 -
Any room for a chinese car.. p on a man? Setup seems to work well

Pinarello prince? Looks smashing. Whats the weight like on that frame?
I believe it is the same geometry as the Pinarello Prince. Not sure about the exact weight of frame & forks, will check on that, but it's very light.0 -
when did you get the frame? there are many talks about the EU anti-dump regulation which charges 45% of the component original cost. did you get hit by this or the chinese seller simply put a very low value for custom?Road - Cannondale CAAD 8 - 7.8kg
Road - Chinese Carbon Diablo - 6.4kg0 -
It did over 2000 miles before, first the handlebars...then the steerer tube snapped. Go china! :-)0 -
It did look SWEET though!0

just go away will ya , pests like you just irritate people. the OP has just bought a frameset which will do precisely what he wants and he doesnt need a nobody like you peeing on his parade.2012 Cannondale CAAD 8 1050 -
these things tend to get styled per year there are trends for the open mold designers when the style gets out it quickly gets copied so things look similar ,like ultrathin seatstays and aero sections which erm are just erm
the difference between a chinarello and a pinarello is the fibres used 60 ton fibres are a restricted material you have to sign bits of paper saying your not goin to build home defence projects out of it ,i only know this because the factory in china rings me up and asks what material is this years wonderframe being made from ,then tell me it cannot be supplied into china but can be supplied into taiwan
chinarellos are made from or whatevers cheap out there at the mo...t300 isnt a bad fibre ironically and i
cant remeber wether it was a dogma or not but i read somewhere the total weight of all that fancy carbon was next to nowt until they painted it and added all the other bits so the advantages loosely were feck all and it still weighed a wee bit (about a small planet)more than the cataloque said
sorry dont do any work for pinarello and dont know much about their frames except they look like they are melting
and what they are made up of
but its a bit like a cheap fish finger and a birds eye fish finger the cheaper ones are full of stuff thats not cod but still do the job0 -

so you post utter nonsense and ask me to leave?
look at the chap above had a nice frame but snapped, so why are people still buying these? id rather have an alu frame.
pretty constructive advice IMO, maybe you read it wrong maybe your just grumpy and had a hard upbringing.MADONE 5.20 -

Im sure you are stoked to bits with that bike nagah as it looks just great. If you removed those shifters with the cables hanging out in front of you and stuck on a nice set where the cables are hidden beneath the handlebar tape, then the bike would totally kick ass in the visual department.2012 Cannondale CAAD 8 1050
