Agree that 1070 is improvement over the Red for a number of reasons. Red is only better for weight.

I got up half of a 15% hill with a standard chainset and 11-23 cassette with a very heavy steel bike once It was rather hard though.

No! the 30km/h was just to show how much air density can affect a higher speed. I actually only managed 11.7km/h up there, but it was just enough for the KOM!0
