Rib cage hurts after ride

Hi

My rib cage hurts a little after my ride. Today, I went for a 33km Ride. There is a nasty hill and my heart rate hit 190!.

About me. I am 45 , 88kg.

The following day, all is fine.

Anyone else had this ?

    Sounds like you overextended yourself, but glad to hear you are ok today . My max heart rate is in the region of 155 so cant imagine a rate of 190!

    Could be anything.. go and see your GP if you're worried.

    Intercostal muscles getting used more than usual maybe?

    Used to happen to me when I first started training hard.
