Extension leads on lawn mowers that get stuck on everything imaginable when you're trying to mow your lawn.

I now have a very specific order and direction in mowing my lawn (which comes in 3 separate thanks to the paths I laid so my bikes had a nice smooth exit from the garage) combined with tried and tested extension lead placement that - just about - leave me tangle free and not electrocuted. But it required draping the wire round my neck, which is terrifying.

I suspect there will be several comments about petrol mowers or those weird robots that live in hutches...

BT Sport milking the MEN tragedy for all it's worth ... Jake Humphries has obviously been told to push that agenda ... As a grown man he could ignore the over-direction ... but of course he doesn't ... He keeps mentioning it like the SKY guys push Game of Thrones ...

Nice work. I've tried mowing it in several different directions but no luck.

Could be tempted by a petrol mower but nothing that needs a pull cord to start it ever starts when you want it to.

Lithium battery lawn mower, do about 4000sq ft, no cable to worry about and if your lawn is bigger than 4000 sq ft then you get to sit and drink beer whilst it recharges :D

Child mascots at sports events. It's gotten completely out of hand, not just the numbers but also the ages. Some of the mascots I've seen in the last few weekends should've been left in a creche, not paraded around a sports field clearly having no idea where they are or why. Parents, you may be passionate about teams and their performances..fair enough, but don't force it on your kids.

Quite by accident, I found the other day that a small snaplink on a side belt loop is quite a handy way to keep the cable from dropping under the back wheels of the mower.

I got a battery powered mower. Don't ask me how good it is, that's the wife's job.

My lawn isn't pointless. It acts as a peerless moss generator, significantly increasing local biodiversity. Also, what would I do with all the time spent on it if it wasn't around?

Point in principal: proven arse hole makes donation of less than 2 days pay and spreads it all over papers.

Manure loving DT spreads it all over front page.

Through his foundation too, so might not be straight from his own pocket.

Should point out again, it's good that Rooney, Toure and the clubs are donating money. Just as a cynical f*ck I only see it as them trying to "buy" good PR.

Ah - forgot about his foundation a la Beckham. Nice tax planning there.

So not giving anything at all - in fact taking away from those he professes to be in line with - not so much a man of the people.....
