Super kit. Not the best Italian Nat Champ kit but a very good attempt:

Has he got really long socks or long legs? Or both?

    Not a bad kit though

Been used for years by endurance drivers in races such as Le Mans as the cars used to be non-air conditioned and covered cockpits.

Yeah, but in cycling and some other sports they're used before the event as warming up but keep the body's temperature down has been shown to be of benefit - they don't ride with them on.
I'm left handed, if that matters.

Yes, because it's made all the difference for Lampre hasn't it.

British cycling have been using them for a few years so I would imagine Sky have had a look.

The key word is marginal.. of course its not going to make all the difference.

Europcar`s ride. Doesn`t get much better than this frame and wheels. Saddle is not very nice and some white bar tape is required.

Frenchie- Think this might be Tommy Vs bike? Apparently he insists on the older saddle over the new ones for comfort. There's a link below to it on BR. Stunning bike though

Could be Voeckler`s bike although the leader normally has white tape and his domestiques have black...although they don`t do that much anymore.

Yup it's Voecklers bike. He only rides with one bidon cage. Proper Pro!

    . Proper Pro!

Hope it's not the same cage that 'decked' him in Tour of Belg!

No point in him riding with two - he only takes a 2nd bidon so that he can pour it over his helmet as soon as the camera's on him

I wonder why he uses Record instead of Super Record?

probably because its cheaper and only weighs a little more, keeping the bike above 6.8kg lotto did the same.

Wiggo is just riding an old training bike. Old chainrings, wheels, etc. Wouldn't be surprised if he bought it after the end of last season. I think he mentioned that at one point...

What's surprising is that he's not training on the new Bolide, especially given that he didn't want to ride it initially in the Giro due to a lack of saddle time.

Anyone know what these things Cadel et al are wearing around their neck? Gilbert is just putting one on his wrist too.

    Some sort of cooling pack?

    Nothing Zippy about those rims:
    - dimples? nope
    - firecrest shape? nada
    - external nipples? niente (actually it's hard to tell but they look internal)
    - 303s or 404s? nicht

The offset brake tracks look like FFWD to me. Any thoughts?

Anyone know what the yellow and black Diadora shoes are which Evans and other assorted riders are wearing? Not seen anything about them and they look pretty smart.

I think they're Diadora Jet Racer shoes? CRC sells them?

They don't look like anything I've seen. They seem to be like an aero design, with laces/straps hidden I can't find a picture of them anywhere, they don't look like the current Diadora models at all.
