Hang on, they are not old. The top one is the new specialized monstrosity and the bottom one is being produced again by Giro
Got to love the way helmet design has regressed so all the really expensive aero helmets look like something I was wearing when i was about ten... They look bloody awful0 -

This was an attempt to post a picture of phinney's shoes from roubaix, but it appears I'm not quite as computer literate as I thought. :roll:0

Nice, not exactly a winter shoe though, it looks trashed in the after the race shot!0

Looks a bit tatty in the 'before' shot too - I guess its the matte finish that doesn't hold up too well.0 -
They supposed to be more comfy?
BMC need to spend less time picking novetly shoes and start showing some results and effort.
You'd think 4 world champs, of which 2 have won high profile cobbled races would be able to throw a BMC jersey at the sharp end of a cobbled race with 60km to go wouldn't you? Just one. That's before you look at the likes of Oss and van Avermaert who'd probably be given team leader roles at Sky - though that's not saying much judging by their cobbled season.

The lace running all the way round the shoe looks like it would cut in a bit, at least with a strap it's spread over a wider area.0

More shoes - an idea what the taping is for?

Wasn't there a photo of Wiggins in some Spesh shoes a while back? Looks like he's back with the Bonts.

I don't care because he's awesome, and I don't think he does either0 -
I'm hoping he will be equally as awesome this year, he's not really shown his hand yet. Really would like to see him win the giro, whatever his sock length!0
-
To be fair it also looks sodding cold so he is probably trying to expose as little skin as possible!0

I hope he goes well at the Giro too - I think the show of force at Romandie, Dauphine etc. last year was just practice for the team, and a confidence booster for him - something which the team and Wiggo don't need this year also makes the Giro more of an unknown!0
