Turbo trainer tyre!!!!!!!

I have just bought a turbo trainer and i thought i'd better buy a training tyre to save wear and tear so i purchased what i thought was a training tyre, but when i opened the box it turned out to be a blue Schwalbe Insider Turbo Trainer Tyre. The only instructions are diagrams which appears to show the item i bought goes inside the tyre. Whats the point of this? The tyre is still going to getting worn. Can anyone give me a bit of guidance please

It goes outside like a normal tyre as far as I'm aware.

its a tyre like any other (for inside use only) so put it on exactly as you would a normal tyre!

Just whack it on i say, maybe you misread the instructions.
