    Not sure I agree with Appy there - that looks like seriously shonky painting that is falling apart - granted it could be due to the way its stored or some external factor but generally paint on a bike shouldnt just start falling off like that.

    Paul, im not saying it is stone chips but that could be there get out.

    Id try ringing again but start a fresh claim and hopefully speak to someone different.

    Do you live far from them? It was a 4 hour round trip for me but worth going in person.

    Those marks on the top tube are more likely to be put down to bike racks on a car I'd have thought but yeah they could be caused through any number of means but even my Cove with its traditional made of tissue paint job would be hard pressed to go like that.
