Had this printed by the guys at Racewear Direct from my CAD model, weighs about the same as the single sided Garmin mount that Racewear Direct make, just optimeised the use of material slighty. I also wanted a double sided clamp arrangement to satisfy the OCD side of me that wanted the symmetry & also adds an extra layer of confidence that it's not going to come adrift.

There's probably still 15-25% weight saving to be had, but the geometry is spot on.

I like it. I need something like that as I have carbon bars with a flat top and there isn't enough "round" profile next to the stem to fit an ahead mount. What I need is something like this with narrower protrusions either side of the stem plate. If I sent you dimensions, do you reckon you could check whether your design might work for my setup?

There's a narrower one in the pipeline, but PM me your dimensions & we'll see if it fits.

K-Edges have been mentioned elsewhere on the forum I believe.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.
  • This is the new pro version , with plastic insert for the mount and the adjustable length of the original k-edge removed . It looks much better to me as no chance of the Garmin being scratched by the mount . I did a search but couldnt find anything on it .
