Do you mean Michael Cooper ? His sessions are all based on % of MHR - I prefer to use % of Threshold HR as the THR will not the be the same % of MHR for everyone. Need to have a LOT of mental fortitude to do some of the sessions on the turrbo but nothing hard worth aiming for comes easy.0

going to give this a go myself- any advice on its effectiveness?
The principals and sessions seem to make sense and I like the simplicity of being able to do virtually all of it on a turbo over the winter if necessary.
I feel i need a more structured plan since left to my own devices i just blast away and over train.
Intending on focussing less time but more effort on the TT scene next year and this gives me something to aim for.0 -
I have used it too good effect prior to getting a coach, training is never going to that enjoyable especially on a turbo, but needs must if you want to trya nd be your best.
If you stick to it, you will progress, it might not be the best progression as it is a generic plan, but it is a good starting point and something to work from in the future.0 -
Is there a link or a book? I need to have a proper TT plan to use as I'm about the limit of my knowledge/ability. I feel the need to put a proper effort in this year so I can breakthrough and be at least a bit competitive.Norfolk, who nicked all the hills?
