Ive recently bought a brand new set of elite ghibli bike rollers, ive never been on rollers before, but when i firsrt tried them, i noticed it was similar to riding a fixie, when i stop pedaling so does the wheel almost immediatly, are they supposed to do this????

Mine don't. They gradually come to a stop after a few seconds.

Is there any reason you're using red text?

OP .. just raise your rollers about 18" off the ground with a small purpose built platform, and secure them to that platform. Then get yourself an old man-hole cover, and drill a hole in the exact centre so that you can bolt it to the axle of your rollers .. that should keep you spinning for a little longer.

I have a set of Elite rollers (mine are Arion not Ghibli but I guess they're similar), and even on the high resistance setting they don’t come to a complete stop immediately – it takes 5 seconds or so. Did yours come with an instruction manual? And did you read it?
  • something obstructing the main roller? or poor bearings? should spin freely for atleast a few seconds

I suspect by immediately he means a few seconds, and not the instant he stop turning his legs.
