Garmin gpx routes sharing resource?

I'm looking to get an Edge 800 next week as I have to start getting back on the bike again. Is there a resource where you can search for nearby routes that people have uploaded that you can download and try out? If so, where might one find them?

    If you set up an account on Garmin Connect (see link below) you'll be able to access rides.

    http://connect.garmin.com/

    Choose <Explore>
    Choose <Activities & Courses>
    Type your town/village in the <Starting Near> box

    This should get you a wide range of rides - you can also use the <Show Filters> to narrow down your searches.
