    How is his Dutch?

Ciolek is leaving quickstep, just like he left T-Mobile to get out from the Cav train.

And underperformed / showed he is really only good enough as a lead out rider just as Renshaw seems to be doing. Sometimes it's better to be seen as an essential team player than a bit part sprinter. More likely Ciolek was eased out to make way for Cav anyway?

Someone else been listening to the Velocast, probably off to Rabobank.

Reunited with Prince Harry, Freire for the lumpier races, Cav for the flat stuff. Rabo get lots more wins rather than trying to be a GC team; makes a lot of sense.

  • I know I've done a fair bit of sniping about Froome, whether he can speak Afrikaans, and whether he'd therefore fit in at Rabo, but apparently the team language is English as the cloggies all speak it, and they don't think it's fair on foreign riders to have to learn Dutch.

    (I don't think it's actually relevant!)

inrng: Eurosport's @dnelissen says Sky now ready to cancel Mark Cavendish's contract, ensuring an easy transfer to Omega Pharma-Quickstep for 2013.
Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.
  • Twitter is telling me that Gazetta have reported that Specialized have bought out cannonball's contract clearing the way for a move to OPQS.
