Not disastrous so far from J-Rod.

Just wait till he goes all Rasmussen on the descent.*

    *he's actually a good descender.

Froome is slower than Contador on the descent too.

Bertie may be a cheeder but he can ride a bike.

Hope Kessiakoff wins. I'd be well pissed off sitting there for two hours and then being booted off the chair in the last two minutes.

Rodriguez 50 seconds down on Contador.

How much information do they get while going along?

Not looking great for Froome-dog over last few stages, all those kms raced catching up with him? Bertie riding like he's never been away.

You'd think Kessiakof would have changed his shoes by now?

He/the team are paid to wear Sidi shoes, so he has to show them off on the podium.

Distinctly remember when I went to the '07 Tour it was only the Caisse d'epagne guys who were doing that.

So Sidi should provide trainers or something else?

Yep. Everything - they get told through their ear everything that we can see on telly - Cotnador for instance, will know that Froome is struggling

Contador has been doing serious training on his TT bike this year fyi. Not sitting around.

Looking good for the jersey atm.

    Good time for Moreno.

Saw a video once from inside the FDJ team car of Marc Madiot "motivating" Brad McGee in a TT. It was basically 4 minutes of ALLEZ BRAD ALLEZ ALLEZ ALLEZ *deep breath* ALLEZ ALLEZ BRAD ALLEZ.

I did chuckle the other day when I read on the the cyclingnews live coverage that Gesink had completed the first week of the vuelta and hadn't fallen off.

Cards on the table: Contador will beat Froome.

    Martin will beat them both.

    50% hit rate.

Hell of a win for Kessiakoff.

Real shame that Froome doesn't have his Tour form. If he can hang on for a podium it would still be a great result.

Rodriguez and Valverde both very good.
