So happy with myself done my first century ride today, the legs are feeling it tonight, but what a feeling never thought I would do it. If your interested this is the ride

    I had no advice, I just started doing 40mile rides got comfortable with those then kept upping it by 20miles each time it felt ok until I hit the century ride which was hard but strangely enjoyable.

    @DW300 cheers been think about maybe joining a club, but just not sure if I would keep up.

    I'm not sure if that was a statement or a question. :p

    But I don't ride with a club either. I'd say that if you can ride a century like that, you'd definitely not be the slowest. But there isn't much to loose joining one, compared to the potential benefits. Just keep riding plenty in the meantime.
