I have tried a few FREE apps for my Samsung Galaxy S2 when I was running all are ok. I currently have Endomondo which again is not bad, I also have bikely mapping/routing is better than Endo.
I'm looking to utilise my phone to plan/track my rides. I reckon that GARMIN FIT looks good but is it really?
What are your thoughts and advice?

MapMyRide is the daddy for route planning (Garmin Connect is good too) - but you should do the planning on your computer - then load the route to your phone.
I use Wahoo Fitness for tracking as it allows export to Strava, MapMyRide, Training Peaks, etc, etc.....plus gives you the option to get the pure data in csv, etc, etc, format on a second by second basis. Geek Heaven. All the other apps seem to limit their export formats to whatever their own websites like.0 -
ridewithgps.com is superior to mapmyride.com for planning.0
