Maybe they'll have the sense to split into several groups so good luck to them! I suspect there will be some very pretty bikes and some excellent facial hair on that outing.
That uphill drag on the east is where I dish out the hurt!
And I expect you're very correct.
And it's a very good place to dish it out, but sadly I've been serving it to myself first.0 -

It's all about gear selection. Tweeds and patent leather SPD-SL shoes...Ben

I rode by myself last night.
Regent's Park was very busy. I came across three groups (no doubt one was from Rapha CC) and a good couple hand fulls of solo riders.
Plenty of fuckwit driving as well. I don't know if anyone here was also out, but you might have seen the old green Toyota (Corolla) try to squeeze me into the kerb near the zoo pedestrian crossing. He braked hard, suddenly and I had nowhere to go but down his nearside (if I'd tried to make the offside, I would have clipped him) and then he veered towards the kerb as I was taking the evasive action.
Gold-plated shitclown.Ben

Not really. A group of five were being led by a slight guy, wearing Rapha, on a fendered fratello, but I suppose it's quite a leap to assume that was the Rapha group.Ben

I guess I left before they got there. It was very quiet compared to normal. I had to do six, soul-destrying, head-wind-slamming laps solo as there was no one to share the work with. I did see one guy on a Dolan and I wondered if it was you, Ben, but he was pretty slow so it can't have been. Just as I was finishing I saw a fair few female roadies gathering, which was nice.0 -

It might have been me. I'm generally 2 laps on and one off and one guy on a black bike did pass me as I was having a breather. In fact, thinking about it now I did wonder "is that Jonny Trousers?" and then there was a crowd of folk near a traffic island so I had to slow down.Ben
