Im curious to know how much training u do during the week or Daily?

I do 3 turbo sessions and 1 longer ride at the weekends. Usually adds up to around 300km a week.0

If you join the Bikeradar Strava group you'll be able to see other prople's activity. It's interesting.
I also started to 'follow' some of the other riders I race against regularly because I wanted to see how much training they did compared to me. We all do roughly the same amount (10-15 hours a week of training/racing).0 -

Couple of one hour chaingangs and a weekend ride of 60 miles plus or occasional road race - 6-7 hours a week, I do more if I have the time. Usually end up with close to 6k miles in a year.
it's a hard life if you don't weaken.0 -

I dont train for anything, but usually ride my bike somewhere around 12 hours per week.0

About 10-12 hours a week keeps me competitive in 2/3/4 and getting round in the bunch in E/1/2/3 races here.
* Although it's definitely about quality (and ample recovery) rather than just quantity during the race season.0 -

Quite. The average person spends nearly 4 hours each day watching tv. Fitting in an hour or so each day to cycle becomes easy when you put it in those terms.0

Again anywhere between 12-15 hours a week depending on what type of training block I'm doing. I do 5-6 days on the bike although normally one or two of those days are recovery rides. Yep, easy commutes, and 2 x training rides in the week, then a long ride/race at the weekend. Maybe a club ten in there too judging by recent weeks.
Ideally it would be commutes, 1 midweek crit, 1 midweek training ride and then the weekend stuff.

Probably about a 10-12 hour week on average, but that includes racing as well. Quite easy to do normally, have done 3 hour rides after work occasionally, but doing 2 hours after work isn't too much of a hassle, or possibly doing split sessions at the beginning and end of the day.
Only more challenging when I start upping the hours in prep for a 12 hour, as it does mean alot of time away from home, or I try and coincide big weeks of training with time off work, and then I can go out during the day without any issues.0 -
Id spend about the same on bike, I find I am more tired after I run at my lunch break than when I am cycling, I just dont enjoy running as much as cycling.0

i do 2 spin class sessions a week = 2hrs
on the bike about 6 hrs every other weekend
about 2 hrs every other week during the week.
so about 5- 6 hrs a week. each run would typically be 30- 60 miles with an odd 100 miler thrown in.
i have too many other things going on in life to do 12hrs a week. not only that but personally, i would get fed up with it. 6 hrs keeps it fresh and i work hard when i do.
having done a few club races now, rest off the bike seems as important as time on it.

Strava informs me its 6hrs 45 mins. Seems a bit high to me, had large blocks of nothing this year. 2+ hour rides after work on your own take some mental discipline that's beyond me.....0

I'm currently on a 4 week cycle of - 6, 8, 10, 12 hours. I increase volume or intensity each month (currently on my 3rd), but the first week allows for recovery from over-reaching on the final week. Seems to be working well, but could just be noob gains.All the above is just advice .. you can do whatever the f*ck you wana do!

Strava tells me 7 hours, into which I fit around 181 km. At the minute though, I'm not training for anything so it's mostly junk miles, with the occasional couple of intervals thrown in the middle of a ride to try and keep me competitive on the club run! To be honest, I'm not quite at the level of fitness which requires I do hard intense intervals to feel like I'm making progress, only started cycling again 2 months ago, after a lay off of almost 2 years!
However, I've only ridden an hour this week, due to injury...You live and learn. At any rate, you live0 -

It's possible to spend 50 hours a week riding a bike with not one minute's worth of useful training.
FWIW answer to the question is, like guy above I've just started training again after taking some time off and to ring the changes decided to train mainly through higher intensity.
Now average of 1.5 hours a day, 6 days a week, each session 20 mins or so warmup then hour or so averaging 80-90% threshold effort mainly through long threshold or short VO2 repeats. It's working pretty well so far, I've got back to around 95% of my previous best performance.Martin S. Newbury RC0 -
Im doing about 5-6 hours on average but thats during the race season, probably do 8-10 through the winter.
looks like most of you are flat out on the intervals, I havent done any this year just tempo riding and races.

That is very interesting, cause all I have read recently is to train in the bottom zone for approx 80% and only spending 10% in the "no man's land" zone and 10% in the HIT zone :?0
