Thanks Lads, when I've finished the changes, I'll post an updated photo, but God knows when I'll get to ride it with all this lousy weather.

This is, quite simply, one of the nicest bikes I have ever seen. I love Colnago!

That is a really lovely bike, best colour way I've seen on a Colnago.

Hmm - 1st bike I have seen that does not suit black wheels.

    Lovely frame though.
    Yellow is the new Black.

Black wheels are a little difficult to avoid with 50mm rims, but when I bought a pair of Bullets I deliberately didn't go for the dark label but went for the standard colour, when I get a chance to fit them, then it may look even better.
  • Lovely looking bike. Think I would prefer the new Team Wiggle colour scheme (especially if it came with one of their riders :-) )

I wanted the Metalic blue and white Sidi Ergo's 3's but they are not available in my size

I know you say you're from South Staffs but I've been out riding in the New Forest recently and 2/2 times I've seen a chap on one of these - white castelli jacket. Not you, I presume?

Nah not me, I've only ridden it three times and once was only the rollers and unless the bloke looked like Mr Blobby then it can't have been me

I ride in New Forest all the time. Never seen a C59 in the localle, tends to be Cervello and Cube country.

Love your C59s Velonutter, especially the Europcar.

    Thanks Mr Goo,

Sorry bit of mis info there, the Europcar I have only ridden 3 times, the 150th 5 times, but hopefully if we get a good summer, then a fair bit more.

Just been a bit lucky about how these came about.

Mr goo - feel free to drop me a pm if you fancy a ride tomorrow/ Monday am. I've seen the same c59 italia twice! Also seen another black colnago, not sure which model. Only other bikes of note today were a cervelo s1 (I think) and a de rosa.

    Hi Velonutter,
We have exactly the same bike with almost the same specs. You can see it at https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid ... =3&theater
The only difference is that my bike is installed with Deda 35 bar and stem, Conti GP4000 tubulars and black bottle cage. Nice bike! Finally i have seen the twin.

Hi. Can you not access my facebook photo? I just activated my bikeradar account and i still cannot upload the photo of my 150TH, hence I can just show you a link to the bike. I will do my best to show it to you. Just like you, I am very proud to own this bike since it is my first Colnago and my first bike with Campy components.

Sorry to thread jack but if you had to choose between your c59 and cervelo r5 vwd what one would you pick.

For me, the C59 everytime, as soon as my replacement R5 comes along when Cervelo get their fingers out, then I will sell it and replace with an M10

Thanks ROT, I like the LAS helmets so much that I have just bought the LAS Victory Matt Black Ltd edition for when I ride my Master Saroni, they are so comfortable that a number of the people I ride with have switched to them as well and agree on the quality.

Here's mine - sitting at the foot of Alpe d'Huez waiting for a break in the weather and a pedal swap.

I climb all the time so suitable wheels are a must. The Neutrons are perfect.

These bikes ride like a dream.

Very nice, I have a pair of the Neutron Ultras and they are lovely wheels.

White Hoods would look good and don't forget to check you RH wheel release on the Shifter :-)

I'm shite at Ascending, but quick on the descents, what do you reckon, don't they handle beautifully?

If honest, I have a few KOM on descents around here and they are on a Seven Axiom. But the Colnago is the best carbon bike I've had the pleasure of owning and it climbs a bit better than the Seven. I just know the Seven is going to go where I want it to regardless of road surface.

Well I actually managed to get some updated photo's of the C59, she's now running Campag Super Record 2012, Campag Bora Ultra 2's, Fizik Kurve Chameleon Saddle, Look Keo Blade Ti Pedals.

I haven't ridden it since last years RideLondon, so perhaps will get a chance this weekend as long as the roads stay dry.

    revised_c59_4.jpg

I haven't weighed her, but think she is sub 7.00Kg now as she is in the pictures.
