    Here's final standings:
Gold: Kristin Armstrong (USA) 37min 34sec
Silver: Judith Arndt (Germany) 37min 50sec
    Bronze: Olga Zabelinskaya (Russia) 37.57

Pooley came in 5th I think behind Clara Hughes.
You've forgotten about Villumsen, lost 10 secs and 3rd place to Zabelinskaya in the last third; Pooley was 6th.

More ridiculous nonsense from Porter! Is he really the best the BBC could find? The man's a joke!

I think he has been poor but accept its not his specialism. The BBC have suffered from not being involved in Cycling in any meaningful way for a long time and therefor have no skilled commentators. My hope is, that with recent tour success and hopefully more success on the track to come, that we will see more coverage and an improvement in the skill set

His main problem is IDing the riders, especially the women, but he's certainly got the gift of the gab. He can keep talking for almost endless sentences, when someone more knowledgable would probably pause badly to think about what to say next. Thank god Chris Boardman is on hand to provide key backup.

did i see Armstrong with a radio in her ear ?? didn't think that was allowed.
I think INRNG said radios are allowed in the TT.
Yeah, seems crazy to ban them in the road races but allow them in the time trials. A megaphone from the following car Dutch style is always more entertaining!
