I ve only looked at the first 3.
Come on Yossie admit it you ve set them up,
A condor with Tri-bars and a Brooks saddle pointing to the sun, a Dutch shopper bike and a recumbent that looks like the b*stard love bike of a Sinclair C5 and Boardman/Burrows kilo Lotus bike!!!
O.C.P it ain't
I commute by bike, but I wouldn't leave the front gate on any of that gash. you'd look a right tit and I cant see our friends on commuting chat tolerating that.0 -

I must admit that even I couldn't set them up that badly - incredulous is the only word for it. And the bloke with the piece of shyt recumbent is actually proud of it. If you dare to venture any further than the first page (I goty to page 5 I think then had to walk away) then you'll find that he has posted again having made some modifications to his shytheap to make it even more shyt.
Oh well, I suppose that at least no one will steal it ..........
I just hope that Dutch shopper is actually having a laugh.
Its people like this that make the rest of us look bad. And the mods listened to them when deciding to set up B/B? Sheeeeeesh lads (and ladies) - we're funked .......0 -

No.......... just no !

That's the one - if you go a few pages on he's added new shyt to it to make it even worse and then posted about how cool it is.
Matt: pass the pick axe handle please, we have to go and see someone.......0 -
Quite frankly, there is no excuse for this sort of behavior !!!

Don't panic folks....my "proper" winter/touring/commuter bike should be built by Friday afternoon and I'll pop a photo up next week to restory a touch of sanity. No dodgy riding position, no dubious "added extras" that look out of place and definitely not a recumbent* - just a no-nonsense early 90s Raleigh 531 with a triple chainset, guards, rack and panniers on it (oh, and a proper chrome bell, not one of those flimsy modern anodised jobs). Off to collect the frame from the powder coaters in a bit, which will be in a brown/gold finish in a pleasingly slightly 70s kind of way. Any vaguely tiny resemblance in colour to Regan & Carter's Ford Granada or Gene Hunt's Cortina is purely coincidental....honest.
First test ride will be on Saturday - Farnborough station across to Leatherhead to watch the Olympic RR go through!

*I've never really "got" the whole recumbent thing. For a kick-off, they always look too low down in traffic to be properly visible by drivers. Wee bit scary."It is not enough merely to win; others must lose." - Gore Vidal0 -

I know, those weeds are a fooking disgrace! As for the trailing cable on the ground, that's a trip hazard!“Training is like fighting with a gorilla. You don’t stop when you’re tired. You stop when the gorilla is tired.”0 -

Cleat , dare I ask what the eyes on your toe cap are for, do they have the same effect as the really shiny boots I used to wear in the Army around the WRAF's (but fortunately never around the WRAC's military law dictated they wore trousers)0

It's the munters thread without the irony.
I delved elbow deep into that thread and have come back with these observations
Why do these communters love tri bars?
And this guy has got one of the robots from Short Circuit pretending to be a bike
But apparently Jesus commutes too
And then there was this
And this

To be fair, that last one is ace, and I don't believe that for one moment it's been used to commute, unles the commute is a leisurely mile along Brighton seafront to a job in a bar ?Science adjusts it’s beliefs based on what’s observed.

Yeah it is cool, especially stuck in amongst a million frustrated hybrids.0

No - its still shyt:
1 The stem is not slammed - minus 10 points.
2. The labels on the tyres do not line up with the valves - minus 10,000,000,000 points.
3. he's only got oine bottle cage - aesthetically its a disaster - all unbalanced.
Its just a communter trying to be cool. He's still a communter and his bike is shyt in that condition.0 -

Its all relative though...
but I must admit the tube on the seatpost does look a little tryhard.0 -
Carrying a tube on it means that they are Ultermo clinchers which as we all know are shyt and crack after 5 yards of riding.
So that's minus another 10,000 points.0 -

Kind of regret buying it, wish i had gone for a more road orientated bike as my commute is all on road.
I like the way this guy has left all the spacers on his stem so that when he crashes he rips his scrote open. And keeps his bike looking jeffy.0 -
I thought NapD had set some rules a while back? did he stop enforcing them?0
