BC Level 2 to ABCC

From looking at the ABCC website a BC level 2 coach is automatically eligible to become an Associate Member of the ABCC. Does anyone know if this means you are accredited as a coach with them and don't need to do their correspondence course? I'm intending doing the level 2 specific and level 3 route with BC (level 2 generic completed pending results) but would like to get on with some 'proper' coaching as the BC process will take a while and currently tied to working on technique with groups.
