    it looks fookin' knackering!

    Publicity, Airtime, Pleasing Sponsors, Chance at glory they wouldn't otherwise have, Get green or KOM points...

    But yeah, it must be hard farkin work!

    It's called 'racing' – otherwise we'd be watching a pro-level sportive. :roll:

    Who are Sky worried about in the lead group that they're keeping it so close?

    And was that Evans struggling a;lready?

    Think they're more worried about the fog, rain and poor visibility - too many up the road with poor communications/tv pics etc is a recipe for all sorts of mysterious attacks to take place.

    they really are nails, riding over all these mountains just to get a shot at sprinting up the Champs Elysee.

    I'd be tempted just to get the Eurostar!
    Indeed:

    @MarkCavendish
    Today's stage can be put into perspective by the fact that by the end I didn't care that I was just puking over myself. Hills+Heat=Suffering

    @millarmind
    @MarkCavendish We could've been puking on each other and we wouldn't have cared. DZ puked all the way home in the bus. It's just wrong.

    Ouch.
    You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
    If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
    If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.

    Can see the descents in the wet being the biggest threat to Wiggins here.

    Tell her to stop faffing around in the foothills of the Pyrenees and get herself back for the serious steep stuff, Rollapaluza Urban Hill Climb tonight ;)

    Balls of steel from Nibali. Really dangerous conditions and he still has the fire to attack. A true rider!

    Naaa, Nibali won't get away, at least not that early.... and the break wont want him there either.

    Nibali has made another pointless attack that's not strong enough and will be wound in by Sky whilst they have their lunch.

    FTFY

    Nibali couldn't attack his own breakfast :roll:

    Yep, break has told him to hang back, and Nibs has decided to hold up for the peloton.

    Wiggins will probably play it safe and let Nibs go away for a bit. More of a concern for Froome really in terms of GC.
