Contact lenses. Didnt realise how great it was not wearing prescription glasses till I finally got the nerve up to try contacts. Still wear my specs for work but riding its always the contacts. Its like riding in HD for the first time in at least 30 years.Fig rolls: proof that god loves cyclists and that she wants us to do another lap0

I haven't actually bought anything apart from some innertubes, and a mudguard this year, so , er. Favourite thing this year is probably a mudguard, since it keeps my bum dry on the ride to work, and it doesn't get in the way if I leave it on when I go off road.
But that's a bit crap, so I'll vote for the XT brakes that I bought last year.0 -
My Reverb, because it's so much better than all the other dropper posts on the market, even the ones I've never tried.

Got donated a saddle for a beer, sometime, not yet though. Pretty good. Oh and Kevlar pads, going well so far, but the saddle gets it if the beer remains un-bought.0

Shimano Saint brakes. Never had to cling on for dear life when braking before! Isn't this thread a bit early though? There's still half the year to come!0

I don't get the shadow+ stuff. What does it really do? I've never had issues with "keeping the chain under control" with my normal, or standard Shadow mechs.0
