Think Wiggo was actually quite restrained there.

    +1
Don't think there was any real malice there, more that he was just caught unawares and a bit shaken up.

Anyone else think BMC looked like the whole first week shepherding was a lot less effort for them than for sky? They've looked much more compact and better organised. Wiggins has been left alone a couple times this week. Not Evans.

Why didn't Cav contest the Intermediate? Given up?

Yeah, but Sky won a stage with Cavendish and had a second and a third with EBH. And they were a man short.

The whole team at the front thing is a particular Evans thing. Two years ago Contador and Schleck's domestiques would drop off the back of the peloton in the last 10km to save energy.

They look far more Savvy. Definitley an air of better organisation. No song or dance, no fuss, no sprinter distraction they are just getting on with the job.

    Let's be realistic here.

    1. He's got cleats on and has a bike between his legs. No way can he get out of the way without ended up othe floor.

    2. He's just ridden cock knows how many miles. Avoiding all sorts of carnage.

    3. All he does is push the camaraderie away from him.

Bit sweary afterwards. Not such a big issue. The modfather called it right in my opinion. That cameraman was being a c unt.

looked to me like it was a toss up between decapitation or push the camera out of the way. Bit of a no brainer really. Cameraman was a tosser for trying to film and run sideways without any consideration or observation in the path of oncoming cyclists.

He's having to do more work to contest the sprints than he's used to, plus the batterings from crashes, and day after day it's taking its toll.

Farrar and Verdugo will do well to finish today. Farrar's been dangling off the back for ages.

He did a long bottle grab then let the car have it back. He looks as sick as a dog. Can't see much job satisfaction in that lad today.

Non plussed about Farrar. A few years ago he was bigged up as a sprinter who would challenge Cavendish's superiority but it came to nothing. His attempt to get into fight club the other day was truly embarassing to watch.

Think YP is referring to the ITV 4 adverts, but anyway, I like Farrar!

Dave Zabriskie and Millar both been on the front... perhaps Dan Martin fancies his chances today.
