The problem is ... I'm hungry
last 12 weeks before my big event of the year - trying to train hard and eat sensibly to try and gradually shed another 1/2 stone in that time.
scrambled egg on toast for breakfast, Chicken salad lunch ,roast chicken dinner -
hoping to go out for 90 min hill repeats but the lashing wind and rain here in sunny south wales has put me on the turbo for 6x5 min hard intervals with 5 mins easy spin between each one .
just finished - now got a real hunger -
had a pear and some hazelnuts - what can i eat ?? , really fancy some peanut butter on toast !!
Should i just MTFU and stay hungry.

All advice appreciated -cheers Bob

What's the point in going hungry? Eat well, eat often, smash in the miles and the fat will fly off.

7lbs in 12 weeks shouldn't be a problem, it's roughly a 300kcal deficit per day. If you're training lots then you should be shoveling away plenty of food even with that deficit.

If you're training pretty intensely, you're probably getting about 30% of you energy from fat. So just eat at your BMR + cals for day-to-day activities + 70% of the cals burned during training.
All the above is just advice .. you can do whatever the f*ck you wana do!

Eating after a hard training session is important.
    More problems but still living....
