    but If the MTBer waves first I might nob back if I'm feeling charitable in order to not hurt their feelings.

    The MTB'ers on the rare occasion that i see them are more friendly than the roadies...

    So i tend to give them the "nod" and ignore the roadies.... :shock:

    cyclists are by definition 'odd'-- so waving at passing objects comes naturally to some, others find it too much effort, while some like to remain aloof, and only acknowledge their reflections in windows--- me i like to shout allez at people making an effort, bon courage, but freddies often don't get it
