    170odd isn't too heavy. But the weight limit on a wheel relates to whether it breaks not whether it is flexible.

    20 spoke rear is not a lot.

    20 spoke rear and 16 spoke front are likely to flex, even with relatively heavy rims like the RS10s. Especially as the front is radially laced and built by robots.

    I've noticed a similar sound on the Galaxy over the last couple of weeks when the drivetrain is under stress ie pulling up hill etc - I thought it might be mudguards rubbing but I've checked clearance, checked spokes for tension, hubs are Ambrosias which have only done about 1k - I wondered if it might be the bottom bracket - I did an audax in the New Forest at the end of April and the bottom bracket got submerged a couple of times
