Wasn't it Pellizotti and Nibali, not Scarponi? Or was there another rumour?

    You're quite right.

Scarponi came up late last year when details of the wire taps and all that stuff emerged.

    I expect Nibali next

    Say it aint true.

When Scarponi was outted as a client a couple of years back, Nibali was the other name. He was going to sue. Was. From what I can gather he sues about as much as Pat L or Armstrong.

Thanks. I liked Nibs... this can be a real sh!tty sport to follow. :(

I had one of them red bikes but I don't any more. Sad face.

Perhaps its just Pippo's post-coital glow, having been ridden by Ferrari for probably close on a quarter of a million euros - just for "training programmes" and "dietary advice"

surely now CONI have to take action against Pozzato as he's worked with Ferrari. He's been paying €40000 a year just for training plans ? I beleive that about as much as I did when Frank Schleck came up with the same thing.

No comment from the UCI over this yet but assume whatever CONI do will go up to the UCI

Is this for doping or associating with Ferrari?

Is there a difference between the two?

He lied in his session with CONI it seems.

Could get more than a 1 year ban

When asked how many other riders work with Ferrari, Pozzato said: “It’s not up to me to say that, but in the peloton everybody knows who goes to Ferrari, just like everybody knows that I used to go. It would be enough for CONI to ask everybody else the same question that they asked me.”

They might want to try that, I can see literally no way you would get anything less than the whole truth. After all, look at the answer Pozzato gave!

Guido Trenti seems something of a tragic figure too. I alwas thought his name was Trentin though.
"In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

the thing is as he states there is nothing on the CONI website to say he has been banned the same with the UCI.

I have to say i'd like to see him serve a ban as we all know what training Ferrari offers so lets not believe this it was just consultancy training plans rubbish
