Have the Chorus model in black - good choice, great frame. Like the white too. Enjoy.

Well took it out for a proper ride today - in pretty serious wind - so probably not the best conditions for a first ride. Nor do I have many good reference points re-other bikes. The my other roadie is a 2005 spesh allez...

Things I noticed - simply how light it is. It's probably a good 3-5kg lighter than any bike i've had previously. You really really notice that. Whether it's accelerating, stopping, or a sudden gust of wind - the change of speed is so much faster.

2 - not much use to you guys but it's a long time since I've ridden a bike with gears - takes a little getting used to thinking about it again.

3 - can't really believe how stiff it is compared to my other bikes. I'm not a big guy so I don't flex it much anyway, but you really feel that every stroke goes into pushing it forward.

4 - comfier than I anticipated. Certainly over rougher roads and smaller potholes it's pretty comfy. You know they're there, but that's about it. No where near as uncomfortable as my spesh.

    Critcisms?

Think my posterior might have to get used to the saddle. Feels a little wide for me - but then again I've never found a saddle that works.

The Ultegra could be a little less wide on the hoods - but I'll soon get used to that. Small hands see.

Still feels odd when I brush the frame with say my leg or arm - s'not cold.

Oh and I put two black bottle cages on it.

    Not carbon fibre mind.
