It goes to Bola del Mundo. I think everyone Loved that stage in 2010 and will love it this year. Getting excited just thinking about that climb.

Nice use of monochrome, makes it look like he's wearing no shorts :D

I kinda meant, there's nothing slow about the roasting. :P

I bet it feels slow if you're the poor sod riding through the Spanish interior for 5 hours!

Indeed. So bad it even bores a hole in your scrotum.

It's a problem when you have big balls.

    I love the Vuelta.

And this year is going to be amazing.

Route looks very good and balanced. Also has about 8 MTF!

By balanced, you mean insanely difficult?
It's a little like wrestling a gorilla. You don't quit when you're tired. You quit when the gorilla is tired.

Problem with the Giro was that Contador had no opposition, if Schleck rides the Vuelta surely that will make it exciting?

I'm not too confident of Andy being enthused by the Vuelta.

Surely it can't come down to that, after such a dismal season he needs to salvage something? And as i said surely his sponsors may have something to say about it?

Presumably Froome will be back for another crack, with perhaps Uran and Henao for company.

Phreak - I'd have thought that Lofkvist/Nordhaug would be in the mix too seeing as though they haven't had a shot at a GC. If Froome is back, that would imply he is domestiquing at TdF and I don't think he will be - more likely that Porte might have a go?

Should be a decent team either way. The way Froome climbed and trialled last year though he'd be the only one with serious GC ambitions you'd think, but it looks like they will be able to put a strong team around whoever is leader.

“I hope to be back to ride the Olympics and then my main goal will be the Vuelta a España,” said Schleck. “I’m more motivated than ever before, as people – and journalists in particular – forget very fast.”

Best cycling related news I have heard this year.

Contador has been training up Bola del Mundo, stage 20 finish. He is training pretty hard atm, ready to tear up the slopes come le Vuelta.

Looks like the Giro and the Vuelta will outshine the tour for the "racing" as ive said what a BLAND tour route.

I don't think this year's Giro will outshine anything.

Vuelta should be good with Contador vs Schleck. Sky should also have a strong climbing team with Uran riding, Froome hoping to, and Nordhaug should be going for stages.

Is anyone going to the Bolo del Mundo stage? I'm away in moldova so will miss it, but went last time - great place to watch the racing.

Amazing. Havn't seen that before. Thanks.

This is going to be a great Vuelta no doubt - Berti, Schleck and hopefully Froome... Yes it does suffer compared to the Tour and the Giro regards scenery but the cycling more than makes up for that.

Contador shouldn't even be racing the Vuelta as he should be actually banned from racing for two years, not racing and having results erased for 18 months and then sit for 6 months.

Shame about Andy, not going to make for an exciting GC race, there's almost no one really interested in it! (Cobo excepted)

I love when I post something that really can't be argues so people like you and ddraver have to go for insults/attacks rather then try to refute what I said. It proves who the real trolls are.

Considering you're in 5 different threads arguing with 5 different people, I think we have a fair idea.

Another off topic post that is only about insulting people. Ddraver, it must be tough being insecure.

Never posted at CN, read it for a while and realized it was filled with people like you...insecure, angry, afraid of being wrong, afraid of differing opinions, etc.

You really need to get a life.

Have you noticed that, except for the Wiggins tirade thread, it's ddraver in all of them.
