Cool.
That's probably the worst argument I've read on here. One of you could at least make up some statistic, with the other countering with some academic theory, which could be counter countered with some medical half truth.
I've graded you a C- gents, you must do better.0 -

Frenchie begs to differ I suspect!
What could be better than watching Alberto Contador and Andy Schleck battle it out over 10 summit finishes?
Oh yeah, watching some people time trial.
Ps. I don't tend to argue with Rich, he gets grumpy, and he's usually right, even if he is a little bombastic sometimes.0 -
When does it start? It's after the TdF isn't it? It'll be interesting to see if Contador comes back with the same zip in his legs.0

We've both presented our arguments in a full and respectful manner and I think we can agree to differ.Twitter: @RichN950 -
I love the Vuelta.
And this year is going to be amazing.
Route looks very good and balanced. Also has about 8 MTF!Contador is the Greatest0 -

I'd be surprised if he didnt come back better. He has a point to prove, no mental stress and is training very hard (and putting in new records and epic rides).Contador is the Greatest0 -

I am a fan of the Vuelta - However I do get a little fed up of looking at all the dying shrubs and sand. My only criticism.0 -

I can't wait. Cycling has been the poorer for his absence IMHO.0 -

I shall pay for some dancing girls to perform exotic/erotic dancing by the road side at random intervals. That should hold your interest!0 -

That's the problem. The 2011 Giro comes to mind. Great for you, but boring for a lot of us.Twitter: @RichN950 -

I don't know how they do it. I handle the heat pretty well (I think), but climbing a mountain in anything more than 30 degree heat is pretty awful.0 -

He said something about it insisting upon itself.
After such a dismal year surely he has no choice but to ride to salvage something, and that's if his hand isn't forced by sponsors.0 -

I kinda meant, there's nothing slow about the roasting. :P0 -

Is the parcours viewable on line? perhaps the climbs may be shorter and/or less severe than the 2011 Giro?

Problem with the Giro was that Contador had no opposition, if Schleck rides the Vuelta surely that will make it exciting?0 -
I agree with Rich, the problem for the Giro was it was too hard.
Routes need to be balancedFckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.0 -
