Knee

I've overdone it and I'm suffering pain in one kneecap. I've been there before and know what I'm up against as well as the great body of information on the forum, but I have a specific question.

Would a knee support help during cycling? I can't say I've ever noticed a cyclist wearing one, but that may be my lack of obversation. :)

I would be surprised if it did - I suspect the knee pain will be as a result of the pressure from perhaps pushing too big a gear or, as was the case with me, poor alignment of the knees over the pedals. A bike fit and some arch supports in my shoes have resulted in no knee pain at all these days, even over long 100+ mile rides.

Don't cycle on an injured knee... let it recover if it is just overuse... or sort the problem out if there is another cause.
