Think it gives the bike a slightly retro yet up to date look, if you know what I mean. Tan wall tyres and skinny tubes mixed with hyro brakes and floating rotors.

Totally agree with you that's the idea, retro look but modern tech. The spashbacks look great hope you are happy with how they ride at Afan

Looks like Afan is on hold Been let down on that front. Gonna take is for a local spin up the Garw instead

Managed to get out this morning. A quick blast up the windmills in Gilfach Goch



Tyres seemed good. Nothing there to test them really. A few burms and sum loose downhill sections. They coped with them well.

Glad you got out in the end even if it wasn't Afan. It looks like a 29er in picture !

Anyway as you have been the route cause of my empty bank account it is time I returned the favour .... It's about time you retired those Toras and lightened that front end. :twisted:

Them wheels do look big. Must be the angle of the photo.

I'm happy with the Toras for now. I'm not really concerned bout the weight to be honest. Besides, I think the wife would make sure I never ride a bike again if I spend any more, lol

Great chains, Look the nuts but stretch quicker than the X9L, keep an eye on it!
Sad thing is you can get them cheaper than the L but they Don't last long! That said, Looks the Nuts! :-D

Did contemplate the L. Got the SL from Taiwan cheaper Will wait and see how it holds up
