    I was told by a motorcycle officer last week (when the road closures were in place for the opening of parliament) that road closures don't apply to bicycles and I could ride on the road or pavement where the road was fully blocked. You'd have thought he was being sarcastic or arsey, but he was deadly serious. :lol: Didn't fancy testing this new interpretation of the law with the number of armed officers around, but it's amazing how misinformed some cops are.

    I would be surprised if road closures didn't apply to bikes being ridden at least. I certainly wouldn't want to test it out. Walking down them with a bike might be a different matter, although from the dim and distant past I seem to think there was something about only one wheel on the ground ?
